Aqeel Qureshi
Techbility Founder and CEO

Aqeel Qureshi established Techbility to ensure that information would be accessible to everyone, and to improve the online experience for persons with disabilities. He is passionate about ensuring that all information systems are accessible to the broadest possible audience, including users of assistive technologies.

He is an internationally recognized accessibility expert who has been working on the Universal Design of web accessibility, information and communications technology (ICT) and disability inclusive disaster risk reduction (DiDRR). He has more than 17 years in the accessibility field and brings the experience, knowledge and passion needed to help organizations and digital agencies make a difference to persons with disabilities by complying with accessibility guidelines and standards. As a disability rights campaigner, he has actively advocated for the rights of persons with disabilities.

Director of Business Development

Marnie Peters is an Ottawa, Canada based Consultant offering unique and comprehensive services related to universal design and accessibility. The exceptional value Marnie brings to projects lies in her ability to understand the needs of all people, including those with disabilities.

While viewing all design aspects of every project through a universal design lens. Building on nearly 20 years of work in the accessibility field, Marnie understands the complex legislative framework and the broad range of technical specifications in the many national and international building codes and accessibility standards. Marnie has also managed and participated in numerous projects related to Emergency and Disaster Preparedness and Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DiDRR), in Canada and Internationally.

Jules Ernst brings more than 10 years of web accessibility expertise to Techbility’s team. He has eye for details and sees quickly where things can be better.

Accessibility and usability are the norm; technique that means to build high quality websites and apps. His main work is inspecting websites on complying with WCAG 2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). He believes that the Internet should be available to anyone at any time, at no additional cost and effort.


Andres Balcazar
Business Development Officer

Andres Balcazar is a Mexico City based architect and consultant. He has been accessibility consultant for national and international private, public and non-governmental organizations. His latest international assignment was as Project Manager for developing the Dubai Universal Accessibility Strategy and Action Plan.

Previously he worked as accessibility consultant for Almodon Engineering Consultancy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was project coordinator for The Global Alliance on Accessible Technologies and Environments. He also worked for the Mexican National Council for Persons with Disabilities, a governmental agency in charge implementing disability related policies and programs, where he was in charge of coordinating specific taskforces at the Ministries of Interior, Foreign Affairs, Education, the National Statistics Institute, and developing accessibility federal policies and regulations.


Mandy Cramer

Based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Mandy Cramer is multidisciplinary graphic designer specializing in publication, marketing and illustration. With a belief that design and art is a universal communicator, she strives to create designs that are inclusive for all regardless of disabilities, language barriers, age, race, gender, or orientation. Her interest in technology's ability to enhance the lives of all and bring the world closer together informs her approach to design.
